Our date at Pierre Hermé

I have been missing my other half the whole day and that was a long long day. We decide to go to Pierre Herme to try their famous desserts. To be honest, I just want to meet him to hold hands and kiss him. Oh cannot forget to mention, he looks handsome in the white shirt today (**hearts**)

After we park xiao-yi, we walk to Morpheus from City of Dream. Many new shops are opened in the way to Morpheus, they have some nice home accessories, interesting handbags and the brands I do not always see in Macau, quite nice. Then we reach an area where they display an expensive funny looking car. On the right side, there is a white tunnel thing ( it reminds me MOCA museum in Bangkok, still rmb the day clearly I spend the whole morning there by myself, very enjoyable) but I do not see any door to get in.

Pierre Hermé is opened in the hotel lobby, not too big, around 9-10 tables. In the center, you can see the chefs makes plating in the working table. We ordered 3 desserts, orange and passionfruit cheese cake, pistachio napoleon with strawberry and chocolate presenting in different forms ( sorry I really don’t know the names). Each dessert is real good, I personally love the pistachio Napoleon the most. The chocolate one is excellent! the chocolate piece has a nice balance with a hint of saltiness( Tips from Min, when you taste something, do not chew). We spend some nice time together, Min talks bullshit (oh no he never bullshit! does he?).

Indeed I just love us being together doing anything or nothing. Call me lazy.

First Meal of the Day

Breakfast. Some take it for granted and other well take it seriously.

Some take it as fuel on regular work days of course, however when you're not at work and spend a night away like we did (courteously of the dreadful idea to visit this years Art Basel) you want to ensure that breakfast was not only nutritious but something indulgent as well. And we were staying at the Four Seasons in Hong Kong. so naturally you'd associate luxury with it.

So that was what we did. we ordered (or over ordered as usual) in-room breakfast. Fluffy butter milk pancakes, waffles, back bacon, breakfast sausages, smoked salmon eggs Benedict with the silkiest of hollandaise laced over like a blanket. almost like the eggs were protesting us getting up so early to eat and wanted that extra 10 minutes snooze.

Oh did i mention Choco is an absolute fan of in-room dining? well she is. and she loves breakfast. that wide smile plastered on her face, one would thin she was happy to wake up and see me, well truth is i am pretty sure most of that smile was was breakfast LOLL!!! i mean who can blame her, really! LOLL

Breakfast was as expected, goooooooooood. so..so good. after stuffing our faces we headed out to the city in search for more food.

Loving this life with her!

Every Artist Was First an Amateur

(more photos can be seen in the IMAGE section)

Awhile ago Choco and I went to Art Basel in HK. not knowing what were were really getting ourselves into, we embraced our inner artist and bravely went where our usual selves wouldn't (not to mention we has a list of places to eat and things to see other then the art show).

after arriving at the bustling entrance of the hall, standing in a long line. Being part of this slithering snake, as though we were avoiding ladders so not to slither away from the entrance we finally made it into the hall.
